Mindy Cousineau | Stylist/Owner

Mindy Cousineau has been residing in South Florida since 1982.  She has been doing hair in the Miami/Aventura area for over 25 years. During that time, along with working as a stylist, Mindy became a color educator with Redken.

Hair color and resolving color issues became her passion. Mindy is also certified in Keratin Complex and Uberliss smoothing systems. She has also become an Aqua hair extension specialist. In 2002, she partnered with long time friend and co-worker Kim Longmire and Hair Industry was born. “We are very proud of the business we have built”, says Mindy.  Hair Industry is going into its 13th year and going strong.

Kimberly Longmire | Stylist/Owner

Kim has worked in both the Aventura and East Hollywood area for over 30 years. Her decision to enter the industry was a natural one. ” I love people… working so closely with them to attain their desired look is so much fun and gives me great satisfaction”. In the last ten years Kim has enjoyed the creative freedom of extensions. She has been certified over fifteen years with “Great Lengths”. Single free flowing protein bonds which she custom color blends to match your hair color exactly in lengths from 8″ to 24″. She is also certified in “Aqua hair extensions”. “Extensions has become my greatest passion”. “I love the transformations you can achieve with extensions, the choices are endless”.

In 2002, Kim, with her good friend and associate of over 20 years “Mindy Cousineau”, opened “Hair Industry Salon” in Downtown Hollywood. We take great pride in what we have achieved at Hair Industry and are pleased to have some of the most talented professionals working with us.

Lisa | Stylist

Beginning her career 20+ years ago with lots of advanced training in London and New York.  Lisa has always kept up with the latest trends and techniques.  Specializing in precision cutting and corrective color, Lisa says “Nothing makes me happier than a happy client!”

Revi | Stylist

Revi began her career in hairstyling 20 years ago apprenticing for a leading salon in the Aventura area.  Soon after completing her apprenticeship program she was promoted to stylist where her career quickly took off.

Over the years she made a name for herself specializing in color and precision cuts.  Revi enjoys working with scissors and a razor to achieve a wide range of styles from classic and conservative to trendy and modern. Her passion for styling and keeping up with the latest styles, trends and techniques has always left Revi’s clients coming back for more. Revi is best known for her flawless highlights, spot on color, and her wet and dry cutting techniques.

Louis | Stylist

Louis began his career in 1995, a native New Yorker of Puerto Rican heritage with an extreme passion for the beauty industry. Specializing in all areas from make-up & up-dos to corrective color & precision haircuts. Louis’ educational background includes advanced training with Toni & Guy, Vidal Sassoon, L’Oreal and Paul Mitchell. These are just some of the top names in the business who have inspired his ability to cover the whole spectrum of creativity in this industry.

Peter | Stylist

Peter has been in the beauty industry for over 30 years. Starting as a stylist in 1984 in Coral Springs, he quickly moved into an artistic director position at a very prominent salon in Aventura. Years later, he transitioned into a Sales representative/educator position for Sebastian, but realized his passion was being hands on and personal with the clients.
He partnered in a salon in Williams Island for six years but had a taste for the big apple. He moved to New York City to work for Tony and Guy and then Antonio Prieto. After a few years there, he decided to come back to Miami where he worked for several years until landing at Hair Industry.
We love having Peter as part of our team here at Hair Industry. He has brought with him his vast experience, expertise and passion with his perfect blondes, beautiful color tint backs, and years of different hair extension applications and more.

Rossana | Stylist

Semra | Full Specialist

Semra Nagle has been in the beauty industry for 35 Years. Her education began in Istanbul Turkey where she learned the ancient method of hair removal, also known as “facial hair threading” at a very young age. She has since continued to grow through many years of continued education. Her talents don’t just stop with perfect eyebrow shaping. Semras’ specialties include acrylic, gel manicure, pedicure and wax. Putting your nails in Semra’s hands promises to be an experience that is exceptional as well as unforgettable.

Her dedication, attention to detail, and rapport with her clients has helped build a reputation of excellence at Hair Industry Salon for the past 3 years. Her extraordinary abilities are complimented by her personality. She believes in making her clients feel relaxed and comfortable while they are getting the best nail services they have ever received.

David | Salon Assistant

Analia | Stylist

Analias’ passion lies in haircolor and she loves creating unique color. She also specializes in corrective color. Analia continues to train in advanced haircolor education. She is certified in Keratin Complex and Uberliss smoothing systems. Aqua tape hair extensions is also one of Analias’ specialties. Creating long,voluminous styles with a damage free technique. Analia always does her very best to listen to her clients needs and wants.
